TAKE CARE KITS

These kits are designed to promote health and wellness among Long Beach Black/ African American residents to reduce COVID-19 impact, risks factors, and mortality.

Initial funding for this initiative was provided by the City of Long Beach Black Health Equity Fund in collaboration with the Black Health Equity Collaborative (B.H.E.C.) and Coalition for Involved African American Families (C.I.A.A.P.).

The kits include a handheld infrared thermometer, disposable black masks, children's masks, sanitizing wipes, hand sanitizer, and self-care products by E.D.E.N. BodyWorks - a Black-Owned all-natural hair and skincare brand.

All kits will also include The Healthy Living Guide designed and developed by Elite Skills Development.
