The S.T.O.P. program provides supportive services to men and women who are "reentering" the community after being released from state prison or county jail.
Services consist of community referrals, one-to-one mentorship, access to drug rehabilitation, education, housing, employment, and medical support services.
Ferin Kidd, an OC entrepreneur, made a documentary last year on the streets of Minneapolis during the protests that followed the police killing of George Floyd.
The program is led by Lead by Ferrin Kidd - a prominent activist and charismatic community leader, providing a unifying voice for the Black community through his movement, The Black OC. He is also the founder of the Black OC and the #Bang4Change Movement and Documentary.
We believe in finding ways large and small to shower compassion on every human being we encounter. We aim to be servant leaders who listen carefully to the needs of others, not only offering sympathetic ears but helping hands, voices of advocacy, and caring hearts.
